• We had almost 71,100 visits. This is almost 3x as many as we had in Dec. 2007.
• Our visitors viewed almost 405,000 page, a new record!
• Each visit lasted an average of 5:55 minutes.
• We welcomed 656 new members. We now have more than 6,200 members.

EsTuDiabetes

• We received almost 33,400 visits, a little less than our November traffic.

EsTuDiabetes

• We received almost 40,000 visits, a new record.
• Our visitors viewed more than 188,000 pages, another record.
• Each visit lasted an average of 4:39 minutes.
• We welcomed 324 new members, passing 1,800 members in total.

General Highlights

• We announced the collaboration with OneTouch around the Global Diabetes Handprint, a project inspired by the Word In Your Hand initiative that started in TuDiabetes in 2007.
• In connection with the Global Diabetes Handprint project, Manny Hernandez, founder of TuDiabetes.com, was interviewed by 19 radio stations and 19 TV stations.
• TuDiabetes.com was featured in the USA Weekend insert, Oct. 22.
• Manny Hernandez was part of the Patient Social Networks panel in the Health 2.0 2008 conference.
• We launched a petition for a Google Doodle themed around World Diabetes Day in partnership with DiabetesDaily.com. So far more than 12,000 signatures have been collected.
• TuDiabetes and EsTuDiabetes started supporting OpenSocial applications.

• Our visitors viewed almost 380,000 pages, an increase of 25% vs. September.
• Each visit lasted an average of more than 6 minutes.
• We welcomed almost 600 new members, reaching 5,000 members.

• We received almost 36,000 visits, a new record.
• Our visitors viewed more than 170,000 pages, an increase of more than 36% vs. September.

• We welcomed more than 300 new members, almost reaching 1,600 members in total.

General Highlights

• We wrapped up our fundraising campaign. We raised more than $7,000 in total.
• We held a Word In Your Hand contest that was a great success, with almost 60 entried in total.
• The Drawing Diabetes video continued to get attention, getting almost 40,000 views on YouTube.
• TuDiabetes was mentioned in the San Antonio Express-News.
• We entered an agreement with FiveHumans.com. Starting Oct. 1, for each diabetes t-shirt sold at FiveHumans, 10% of the sale price will go back to the Diabetes Hands Foundation.
• We made important changes to the home page of EsTuDiabetes.com, to facilitate navigation for new members, adding a number of buttons leading to newly created Resource pages per type of diabetes, etc.

• We had 54,201 visits, a new record.
• Our visitors viewed 305,312 pages or 10,177 pages per day, another new record.
• Each visit lasted an average of 5 minutes, 58 seconds.

General Highlights

• August, once more, we broke all previous records in both, TuDiabetes and EsTuDiabetes.
• The Drawing Diabetes video was a great success, getting viewed more than 27,000 times on YouTube. The video was also featured on the home page of ICYOU.com.
• TuDiabetes was featured in DRIFocus, the newsletter of the Diabetes Research Institute; BlogHer; Healthline and the Pharma2.0 blog.
• EsTuDiabetes was featured by the famed Don Francisco, in “Don Francisco Presenta.”
• To celebrate arriving at 1,000 members in EsTuDiabetes, we held a much fun video chat.
• We continue our fundraising which we hope will get to the goal of $20,000 by the end of September.

General Highlights

• May marked a new record month for TuDiabetes and EsTuDiabetes. It was also a great month in terms of exposure for both communities:
• The Founder of TuDiabetes, Manny Hernandez, was interviewed in the Diane Rehm Show and TuDiabetes was mentioned on Business Week.
• EsTuDiabetes was covered by two newspapers: Mi Zona Hispana (New York City) and Diario Panorama (Maracaibo, Venezuela).
• We published a press release for EsTuDiabetes.com, upon reaching 500 members in the community.

• We had 34,351 visits, close to 50% of which were new visits.
